i seriously was driving to work thinking, coffee sounds sooooo good rite now...come to work and there's my co-worker drinking her cup o' joe...

40 days and 40 nights...and a clean slate...

so after much inner debate with myself, i have finally come to terms of what i am giving up for lent...coffee and soda. diet coke to be exact.

if you know me i cant start my morning with out my cup o' joe....or finish my day without my afternoon fix of diet coke...so this is going to be really hard...but i have faith i can do it!

last year i only gave up coffee, which i successfully did, this year..im doing both...so im feelin good about it!

with that said, i am also back on the program! yes yes gotta get ready for vegas in april...gonna be sooo crackin...and imma be back on the tae-bo/work out/wii fit program...

i dunno what it was, maybe it was lent, maybe it was the fact that i need a new hobby, maybe its the fact that my sista's are on the workout program as well(shout out to lea and nan) but this time imma try really hard to stick to it!

talk about a to do list....my list keeps getting longer and longer at work and i think i need to say something...gimme some help here or something! i mean really....

neway...a couple things..

walking into my hallway yesterday i noticed 201...the crackheads (see post here)

had some supicious luggage outside of there door....on monday i heard them arguing talking about "dont block the door, i hate when you do that" and jus last nite i heard more arguing "your sheit is in the hallway, you need to leave or im gonna throw you out!" sooo weird, and there complete and utter crackheads.....i'll keep you updated on what happens with the luggage! sooo crazy! (and yea i took a picture so you can see what im talking about!)



I consider me and my cousin pretty much foodies....i mean we know what good food is...with that said, we had our usual, ping...dinner? sure why not...we started out thinking cheap sushi....cause its decent for what it is but ridic cheap....i'll keep that little gem to myself because i dont want it to blow up and then all of a sudden there rates go through the roof, but if you really want to know where it is i can tell you...i dunno how it came around, but we finally decided on pizza...so the infamous talks go back and forth between me and my cousin, giorgio's? pasquale's? delfina? finally after much debate, my cousin comes up with "Tony's pizza" 1570 stockton street. Her exact words "my friends tell me its the best pizza in your life!"

im excited! best pizza in my life! that's a big deal..so we head over, and find parking in north beach (what what) and head toward the bar. the place is packed...a good sign...that's one thing i look for when i try new places....

we order pasta and a pie...the wheel pasta with pesto, artichokes, and chicken, and the four cheese pizza....im sorry this place was jus nasty! me and my cousin seriously sat there trying really hard to like "the best pizza" in our life...watery, bland, bad crust...i mean really do not go here! there are sooo many other pizza places way better! a huge disappointment! i didnt even take pictures because i was jus disgusted.

after that we decide we are due for some of the best ice cream ever! probably the best ice cream place in the city...i mean really what more can i say...

Mitchell's is undoubtly is the best in the city....they do have a $9 limit on ccard charges which lead to massive amounts of ice cream...a picture tells a thousand words.

i think im going to try a dip cone next time....yummmmmmm

tuesday, saturday, sunday and now wednesday...

yes folks, so far i have drank every other day...im hurting...but here's how i look at the week for those of you dont know....it helps me get through it when it seems like its draggin' its heels...

monday - is monday and there is nothing you can do about it
tuesday - not monday, so of course its a better day
wednesday - is hump day, so your at a mid way point which is better
thursday - your basically one day away from friday, your golden
friday - you jus send it in...weekend here i come!

i was thinking about it on the drive home last nite. of the progression (like the week) my drinking has gone through the years...interestingly enough, i think its safe to say that i like where i am rite now with my drink of choice pre-party/carbar and inside drink...here's a short timeline

7-9th grade - strawberry boones, MD 20/20, wine coolers, and the occasional pina colada or margarita (cause they were sluhsie)

ahhhhh the early stages of drinking...i just wanted anything fruity, and cool...i think at this point in my life i really wanted the pretty drinks and alcohol jus did not taste good to me at all...grooosss. i looked for things that were alcoholic, but still not strong cause, but the fact that i was out drinking made me cool.



10th-12th grade - bacardi limon, gold schlagger, erk and jerk(e&j brandy), smirnoff ice with any flavored type vodka, alize you kno the good stuff LOL.

ohhh high school. this is were the semi hard liquor came into play. me and the girls would hit up platinum, or have open houses and i just remember getting completley hammered. swigging from the bottle..like really did we not have shot glasses? LOL ohhh good times...


college - beer, beer, and more beer and nothing but hennessy and coca cola, and apple juice and whatever my chase was at that time.

i didnt really like beer in high school, despite my friends liking of 211 and OE. but once college came around there were forty tuesdays, and beer pong, and beer bong, and yada yada yada...and of course my new found love of hennessey...yummmmm



post college to present - good vodka w/ pineapple (grey goose, kettle one etc..) Jameson with my preferred chase of grape juice, and an occasional mimosa...

so for awhile i was reallly reallly liking grey goose and pineapple...it is sooo good, but lately me and the girls pick up a bottle of jamie and all is right with the world for that moment. (thanks to my friend nell boogie) i get dummmmmb faded...and wake up with no hangover, just ridiculously tired. i highly recommend it....best chase ever! grape juice!

what a fun weekend!

can i just say that i had a blaassssst on friday...i was completley and totally inebriated....soooo funn...

and the best part of it all was that it ended with this!



this little mo fo's are sooooo damn good after a late nite of drinking...bad as they may be....gosh darn it they're delessssh!

went out sunday...and now super case of the monday's off of two hours of sleep....wheeewwww....

sidenote....dont you hate when you see a friend from back in the day, and they are all about hollering at you, but he's friend is way cuter? what is that...just a thought....needless to say this weekend definitely proved to me that i still got it...regardless...hehehe haaaaay go jeen gooo....=D
